I was born and bred in Nairobi. I am married to Twidley Ithiga (since 2010) and we have two children, Tendo and Nia. After high school, I went to The University of Nairobi where I earned a Bsc.Mathematics and Chemistry, and later joined Africa International University where I graduated with an M.A Biblical Studies.
I grew up in a catholic home that was not very big on ‘religion’. When I turned 14, I stopped going to church. So I grew to become a rebellious teen, disobedient to my parents, given to drugs and other worldly passions. I literally was wasting my life away. While at the University of Nairobi, my wayward lifestyle led me to become depressed, trapped and desperate. I considered life as ‘vanity’. I knew I needed to turn my life around but I didn’t know how to do it. By God’s grace,in February 16th 2005, a fellow student led me to commit my life to Jesus Christ. I grew in the faith to recognize my hopeless sinful nature, leading me to passionately cling to Jesus as my redeemer and Lord!!
Upon graduation I joined Mamlaka Hill Chapel in January 2009 as an intern. I am currently the pastor for media. My passion is to help people understand the gospel, love Jesus Christ, and serve others sacrificially. My hobbies are playing basketball with my friends or cycling with my son for leisure.
