The chore purpose of our Worship Ministry is to glorify God through music. We believe that the sole purpose of man is to worship God with all we have as intimated in Mark 12:30 “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.” This is to be the whole purpose of our lives. God is worthy of all of our worship, and in Mamlaka Hill Chapel, the responsibility to lead the Church in sung worship lies with the Worship Ministry whose mission is to magnify the greatness of God through music, creating an environment in which people can be led by the Holy Spirit into an encounter with God.
Working as a whole, the Worship Ministry brings various elements to our service of worship including music, but also reinforcement of the spoken message, scripture reading, drama; these are the visible ministering arts aside from our individual worship. Ministry should not be a responsibility that is taken lightly, nor with mediocrity. We want to bring God the best we have – this is excellence.
In the context of our Worship Ministry, excellence in both skill and spiritual formation will encompass all of the talents and skills God has blessed us with, time devoted to devotion and rehearsals, practicing and learning at home, and leading worship services with a genuine heart to glorify God.
